Earthquake outside NYC triggers ground stop at major airports

The FAA has temporarily grounded all flights Friday at Newark and John F. Kennedy International Airports following a magnitude 4.8 earthquake that struck New Jersey.

There have been no immediate reports of damage following the tremor, which was felt across the Northeast.
