Portable D’cent Biometric Fingerprint Access Crypto Coin/Token Storage Launched

A new portable storage locker launched for crypto coins, the D'cent Hardware Wallet, helps traders to keep their crypto tokens secure, with easy biometric fingerprint access.

Daytona Beach,United States - November 15, 2022 /PressCable/

Over the last decade, cryptocurrency has become massively popular, but there have been few options for keeping the tokens securely stored offline, yet still accessible. A recently launched hardware wallet available from The Crypto Merchant offers a new solution, with safe offline storage accessible via fingerprint.

The new hardware wallet from D’cent is the world’s first offline storage device that offers easy biometric access, using a built-in fingerprint scanner. While the device supports a limited number of cryptocurrencies, it offers an intuitive interface and simple design that has made it a popular choice with many crypto traders.

To access their crypto, users can scan their fingerprint for instant access to their account, or use a keyword. The device also includes several backup security options, including an option to use private keys, and a recovery seed phrase to help recover their accounts in case of emergency.

As an added security feature, the D’cent hardware wallet is unable to complete any transactions without first being connected to another device, such as a mobile phone, desktop computer, or laptop. The wallet can be paired wirelessly using a built-in Bluetooth transfer system, or by using a standard USB cable.

Compared to similar devices, the D’cent wallet includes a large, easy-to-read screen, and a long-lasting 585mAH battery. The device has also been designed to make updating the firmware simple, though users will need to have the recovery seed code that came with the device to complete the process.

Currently, the D’cent biometric hardware wallet supports Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), SRP, RSK Smart Bitcoin (RBTC), and ERC-20 tokens, with plans to add support for more tokens in the future.

Firmware on the device includes a D’cent app, which combines three practical features. Traders can use it to quickly view their account balance, or to see a full transaction history, and can use a one-touch feature to share their PR code or cryptocurrency address with others.
