Oil prices drop on Thursday, pressured by news of the biggest-ever release of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve and a decision by other major oil producers to continue a gradual production increase. Analysts, however, believe the moves will only be a temporary fix for tight global supplies.
