Jaime Arbella, I'm from Cuba.
What makes you different as a person and as an artist?
I have always had a strong determination to achieve my goals in life, constantly improving myself and learning from my mistakes has been my driving force, as an artist I have never looked for a way of being different, when you are born with art in your veins already You are different from everyone, but I do believe that exploring different musical styles, experimenting and taking risks in my songs as a singer and songwriter has made me a better artist.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
Every day I enjoy and celebrate each of my achievements, I believe that there are no small or big victories, they a count, each step that is advanced along the way is valid and we have to be grateful for where we are and where we will be, every day I enjoy my achievements and I believe that the biggest one that I want to achieve is to keep intact the ability to enjoy my music from its purest and least pretentious state
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years I see myself anywhere in the world, surrounded by art, smiles and pure life, I see myself very happy !!! just like today
What do you bring to music world?
When you make music that comes straight from the heart, without thinking about the latest trends in the music industry, you are creating something different, unique and above all unrepeatable, with my songs I give joy to the world, sometimes melancholy, life experiences, I give everything that I carry inside in songs.
What legacy do you want to leave behind?
This is a question that I have honestly never asked myself, I think I live too deep in the present to think about such a distant future, every song I write, every note I play on my guitar, or every melody that comes out of me is part of that legacy that will remain one day, perhaps for a couple of people, perhaps for entire generations, something that matters to me and a lot is that if ultimately a legacy remains, it is above all an example of perseverance, I want those who listen to my music when I am no longer physically present, to think that achieving happiness and fulfillment as an artist lies in their ability to create from their soul, in knowing how to love themselves and never quitting even if it seems impossible.
