With the launch of the AI training program, Teen Tech Lab provides an opportunity for high school tech enthusiasts to enrich their work portfolios and college applications with advanced AI programs. The training is designed to build and develop the skills necessary for future tech leaders, helping the students stand out among their peers.

According to recent research, the AI market is expected to grow by more than 30% between 2020 and 2027. Because artificial intelligence is shaping the future of many industries around the globe, possessing the skills needed to thrive in this emerging field opens the door for a number of career paths. With new technologies like big data, robotics, and IoT, the myriad applications of AI will continue to expand, creating new research and innovation opportunities.

Through Tech & Media Training For Teens, students will gain an immersive experience in the field of artificial intelligence. They will learn, develop, and apply advanced concepts often used in the AI industry. With a brand new interactive technology sandbox, the workshop offers a learner-friendly software building and testing environment.

The training covers various lessons through collaborative work and independent study. Some of the AI concepts discussed in the training include AI mapping, facial recognition, emotion detection, augmented reality, and neural networks. Because the main aim of the workshop is to provide the students with real-life hands-on training, various individual and group projects are included to enhance the learning experience.

Students will also get a chance to explore various media assets, including green screen videos, pose cameras, podcasts, and digital magazines. The program is held at FAU Wimberly Library every Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 pm at no cost.

A spokesperson at Tee Tech Lab states: “Local area High School students, enrolled in a traditional school or home school, are encouraged to join us for an evening of technology and media exploration at the Cindy and Rubin Gruber Sandbox at FAU’s Wimberly Library. With this recent program, students will establish a portfolio of media assets and learn to pursue their passion in the field of AI.”
