Children’s book author Cheri Anthony presents her latest book, “Pockets Full of Prayers,” which teaches young readers kindness and compassion

By: Get News
The 26-page picture book, which centers on the story of a young orphan boy named Omari, aims to help children be kind and inclusive while exploring faith.

Author Cheri Anthony’s latest book “Pockets Full of Prayers” is now available in leading digital stores globally.

Pockets Full of Prayers is a story of a young orphan boy named “Omari” who owns a ragdoll called “Pocket.”

“Pocket” was given by an orphanage caretaker to Omari after retirement. She told Omari to write his prayers down on paper and put them in the ragdoll’s pockets. “Every prayer he puts in shall be granted,” she said.

The book celebrates kindness, where readers – young and old alike – discover the benefits of being kind in their communities.

“In a world where your kids can be anything they want to be, first teach them to be kind,” Cheri says.

Cheri says Omari’s story is about championing benevolence despite the odds – something parents should teach their children.

The 26-page picture book hopes to help children to be kind and inclusive themselves.

Cheri’s top-rated children’s book also offers engaging and warm illustrations made for young readers new to the beautiful worlds of reading and faith.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Cheri attended Noxubee High School and, upon graduation, went to Mississippi University for Women.

Cheri currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a mother of two daughters and has two grandkids. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys oil painting and designing.

Those who want to grab a copy of “Pockets Full of Prayers” may purchase it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Book Depository.

Cheri is a renowned children’s book author. She authored the kindness book “May I,” which revolved around the story of two little girls who were very different.

One of the little girls had a mean face all the time, but the other little girl was the complete opposite because she always had a smile on her face.

Estrella states in a review on Amazon: “The illustrations are so beautiful my niece fell in love with the graphics and colors. This book teaches a valuable lesson to children, teaching them kindness at a young age.”

Cheri also authored the children’s book “Magic Land,” which delved into the story of two little girls named Zora and Haven. The two lived in an orphanage together, where they promised each other that they would never be separated.

She also authored and released “Little Johnny and the 50 Cent from His Grandmother” in 2009.

Writers’ Branding, a full-service self-publishing company, has led the pack in bringing out Cheri’s heartwarming book to the public, providing many authors exclusive access to publicity.
