A Permanent Shadow's new single is called "Beautiful People"

By: Issuewire

The band from Barcelona releases the song on November 12th

Barcelona, Spain Nov 3, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - A Permanent Shadow, the musical collective led by CP Fletcher, is about to release their new single. "Beautiful People" talks about what happens when beauty disappears once the aging process begins, especially for people who have used their looks all their lives to get what they want. The song is accompanied by an animated video starring a young, beautiful, and successful couple who, after giving themselves the "Yes I do", face the harsh reality of a routine life full of ups and downs.

The song was composed by the British musician Paul Malcolm and produced by Valen Nieto and Albert Català. Musically speaking, "Beautiful People" moves between Britpop and Eighties Electronica.

A Permanent Shadow's debut album "Songs of Loss" was released in September 2019 to critical acclaim on the band's APE Music label. A particular highlight for Fletcher was a mention by Simple Minds on their Facebook account after A Permanent Shadow had covered their hit single "See The Light".

The release of A Permanent Shadow's new album"Humdrum" is scheduled for early 2022. "Beautiful People" will be available on digital platforms starting November 12th. The presave link is bit.ly/beautiful_people_aps.
