Little Chompions releases therapist-designed, curated kits for feeding infants.

By: Get News
Little Chompions aims to make early feeding accessible and enjoyable by offering parents easy, fun, and simple kits to feed their infant along the food journey.

Launched by Monica Phillips, a pediatric speech therapist in Washington, D.C., the inspiration for Little Chompions came from Monica’s own experience with her child and questions from other parents. Despite having over 10-years’ experience in the field, Monica found it hard and time-consuming to find and purchase each of the appropriate items for feeding an infant. After getting frequent questions from her friends with infants on what the right tools were to feed their own children, Monica realized how hard it was for parents to find the accurate, trustworthy information on approaches and items to feed their children. She wanted to make it easy, fun, and simple to feed infants, with reliable information and sustainably sourced items all in one place.

“There are so many things going on during infancy. Wading through countless items online and making decisions while operating on limited sleep is another challenge that parents do not need to face,” said Monica. “The kits are designed and curated so regardless of what feeding approach parents choose, the tools are all there for parents to actually enjoy what should be the start of a lifetime long, healthy relationship with food and their child.”

Available online at littlechompions.com, there are 3 kits available for different age ranges: 3-6 months, 6-9 months, and 9-12 months. Each kit comes with developmentally appropriate items as well as two detailed guide booklets on how to use the items, as well as feeding and meal tips.

Little Chompions also features meal ideas, feeding tips, and tricks of the trade on their Instagram account. The company encourages parents to submit questions and share ideas. “With the right tools and the right guidance, I believe every family can feel prepared, confident, and excited to feed their little chompion — and treat meals as a way to connect and bond with their child!” said Monica. “You’ve got this!”
