The online art magazine 300Magazine is pleased to share the news that The ONE Museum, the first independent virtual museum of fine art, is now hosting a solo exhibition of the Cuban-American artist Frank Chinea Inguanzo. The show, which is titled “Unforeseen Transition,” features a carefully selected collection of paintings created by Inguanzo in the last two years. The exceptional talent of the artist and innovative 3D technologies used by The ONE Museum to organize this cutting-edge virtual exhibition make the show a not-to-miss event for all art lovers. “Unforeseen Transition” is on view at the Museum through October 9, 2021.
Frank Chinea Inguanzo is a Cuban-born Miami-based late neo-romantic artist of the 21st century, who is widely known for his dramatic expressionistic approach to painting. In his captivating art, Inguanzo recovers the apocalyptic spirit, stressing his inner experience and self-observation and projecting the ghosts and the muses of his soul. The artist’s paintings are distinguished by dark scenarios and dream-like worlds filled with stormy views, dislocated entities, and diluted yet heroic figures in abyssal situations. Works by Frank Chinea Inguanzo have been exhibited at many solo and group shows both in the United States and worldwide.
“Unforeseen Transition” is an important exhibition for Frank Chinea Inguanzo and The ONE Museum alike. The fact is that Inguanzo is the first permanent artist of the Museum to produce an entire collection of new paintings specifically for his solo show at The ONE Museum, meaning that all of these artworks have never been shown to the public before. The exhibition itself deserves a special mention. Created using the best 3D technologies, it offers a unique virtual environment that allows the visitors to experience the art of the talented artist to the fullest.
“Unforeseen Transition” features 40 paintings by Frank Chinea Inguanzo. This art collection represents a compilation of the last two years of work, which were full of unexpected situations and mixed feelings leading to the ‘unforeseen transition.’ Hence, the name of the exhibition was not chosen by chance; it is a reflection of the current situation in the world and the outcome of the coronavirus pandemic. For a more in-depth experience, “Unforeseen Transition” by Frank Chinea Inguanzo is divided into two parts: “The Years Before” and “The Time During…”
Frank Chinea Inguanzo’s solo show has become possible thanks to Thierry Gulian, a prominent photographer and curator at The ONE Museum, who has done a great job to present artist’s recent paintings in such an innovative way.
It is also worth noting that Frank Chinea Inguanzo is now participating in one more art project, which is titled “HUMAN RIGHTS? @WORK.” It is a UNESCO international contemporary art exhibition curated by Roberto Ronca, which runs through October 5, 2021.
