Dionna Reeb's new book, 'Today Is the First Day of My Future', is a reflective account of a faithful woman who shares God's grace in her challenging life journey

Recent release "Today Is the First Day of My Future" from Covenant Books author Dionna Reeb, M.Ed., is an inspirational journey about a woman with a chaotic life, yet she keeps her soul open to God to find healing and hope for a better life.

MESA, Ariz. - August 11, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

Dionna Reeb, M.Ed., an active community helper with a degree in psychology, has completed her new book, "Today Is the First Day of My Future": an encouraging read about a troubled woman who almost lost hope but fortunately, with her husband's support, she continues to fight her demons and find enlightenment in God.

Dionna writes, "Living in a world of darkness caused Dionna to tailspin into self-harming behavior. Cutting became Dionna's go-to behavior. The self-harming behavior eventually got her court-ordered to the Arizona State Hospital, where drugs and takedowns were a regular part of her life. After being told she would likely never leave the hospital, Dionna decided she would do what it took to get out. And after seven months in the Arizona State Hospital, she was released.

"Certainly not all better, she went in and out of the private hospitals. Dionna finally found Narcotics Anonymous and dialectical behavior therapy, and she began coming out of the darkness. Michael, Dionna's husband, showed her that she did not have to run to the hospital for every emotion by creating the 'hospital at home' program. It has now been 14 years since Dionna self-harmed and eleven years since she was in the hospital."

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Dionna Reeb's new book is a moving story of transforming oneself from being a mess into a sensible person with the support of loved ones. It's also a story of finding hope in the darkest moments in life by having the utmost faith in God's goodness and grace.

Readers can purchase "Today Is the First Day of My Future" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
