TITTD.art Collaborates With El Pulpo Mecanico To Create Timeless NFTs

Every year there is an annual Burning Man event held in the Black Rock Desert. This has been a very popular event in the art community for years and one of the main attractions for the past decade has been El Pulpo Mecanico. Popular artist Duane Flatmo is behind the design of this iconic car, however, he’s announced that he’s ready to retire in 2022.

Before Flatmo retires this iconic car, it will be doing one more project with TITTD.art. El Pulpo Mecanico will be the heart of 100 timeless NFTs. These are digital non-fungible tokens. Only 100 collectors will be able to get one of these exclusive NFTs.

What is El Pulpo Mecanico?

El Pulpo Mecanico has been grabbing people’s attention every year at Burning Man. With its wild showcase of fire and thunder, it’s hard not to notice this famous car. Many people were attending Burning Man just to get a look at El Pulpo Mecanico up close. There is fire coming from every angle of this sci-fi style car, putting on a show with every move it makes.

This isn’t an ordinary car at all. El Pulpo Mecanico is a  26-foot tall mechanical showstopper. Many people describe this car as a mechanical octopus that breathes fire. It looks as though it has bulging eyes and tentacles, giving the audience full effects. This beast was created by using scrap metal and a 1973 Ford 250.

El Pulpo Mecanico has made many appearances over the years. Aside from its annual stop at Burning Man, this art car has also been displayed at:

  • Nocturnal Wonderland in 2011
  • Electric Daisy Carnival in 2012
  • Arts Alive! in Eureka, CA.
  • Beakerhead in Calgary Canada
  • Fire Festival in Telluride Colorado

Creating an NFT that Burning Man fans will always remember

If there were to be one art project that comes to everyone’s minds when they think of Burning Man, it would definitely be Burning Man. This piece can grab people’s attention even if they are 100 yards away. There’s nothing like it and many Burning Man fans are disappointed to know it won’t be coming back.

However, they can still have their own piece of El Pulpo Mecanico. There will be 100 unique El Pulpo Mecanico NFTs dropping from TTITD.art on August 31, 2021, exclusively at http://bit.ly/elpulpo
