Cliven Bundy American Patriot – A Depiction of Constitutional Right Violations

Cliven Bundy American Patriot is the shocking, yet true with twists and turns, highs and lows of intrigue, and common sense of the life of one man, his devoted family, and fellow patriots.

Henderson, United States - July 23, 2021 /PressCable/

For those who are not familiar with the ongoing saga, Cliven Bundy is an American cattle rancher who was charged and underwent pre-trial detention for his role in the 2014 “Bundy Standoff” – an armed standoff in Nevada with federal and state law enforcement over defaulted grazing fees. Arrested by the FBI in 2016, Bundy was held in custody in a Federal prison, until acquitted in 2017 when Judge Gloria Navarro declared a mistrial and dismissal of the charges due to the federal government withholding potentially exculpatory evidence.

While Bundy today is still an advocate and participates in anti-government activism activities, the Nevada case originally stemmed from a years-long dispute between Bundy and the federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) over years of unpaid grazing fees. The dispute originally started in 1993, as a protest against changes to long-established grazing rules. Cliven Bundy declined to renew his permit for cattle grazing on BLM-administered lands located near Bunkerville, Nevada. According to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Cliven Bundy continued to unlawfully graze his cattle on public lands without a permit. In 1998, Bundy was directly prohibited by the United States District Court for the District of Nevada from grazing his cattle on an area of land later called the Bunkerville Allotment. The situation quickly grew into a huge movement involving self-described personal militia members from 11 other states who answered a Bundy family plea for help and support in March 2014. The movement gaining international attention evolved into a symbol for advocates of states’ rights, anti-federal policies, and the sovereign citizen movement.

Today the Bundy name is celebrated by ranchers and cattle farmers throughout the West. In this book, Cliven Bundy American Patriot, Cliven Bundy tells his story for the first time to author Michael Stickler while behind the razor wire fences of Federal lockup. Stickler spent over 60 days documenting Bundy’s side of the conflict that led over 200 Federal agents – in full tactical gear armed for civil war – to seize, sell, and destroy his cattle – acting well beyond their judicial warrant. The standoff made international news, creating the rallying cry “No, Hell NO!” that brought thousands of Americans from across the country to the Bundy Ranch in April 2014.
