Campaign Manager issues official request for Public Records

By: PRLog
The Campaign for Denise Paul Hatch for Center Township Constable has issued an official public records request from incumbent Constable Tony Duncan
INDIANAPOLIS - Feb. 27, 2018 - PRLog -- The campaign manager and press secretary for the Denise Paul Hatch for Center Township Constable 2018 Campaign has officially requested public records from the incumbent Center Township Constable Tony Duncan in the interest of public transparency, and due to suspicious behaviors brought to light in the Indianapolis Business Journal newspaper article dated August 2, 2014, where Center Township Trustee Eugene Akers admits to working as a part-time deputy constable for Tony Duncan, while ALSO already earning a substantial full-time salary and compensation package for his elected position as Trustee. The voting public needs and wants to better understand what is happening with public funds being administered by the Center Township Constable's office.

Candidate Denise Paul Hatch is committed to 100% transparency and accountability, and pledges to implement substantial new policies and procedures when elected as the new Center Township Constable, including designating a staff person to act as her public records access administrator (required by Indiana state law, yet current Constable seems to not be in compliance) and holding quarterly public town halls with Center Township residents to discuss any and all issues related to her office.

Please find a copy of our campaign manager's letter requesting access to records under Indiana Access to Public Records Act ยง 5-14-3-1 et seq. at this link: https://goo.gl/X8C3WJ

Transparency. Accountability. Compliance.
