Artist Lineup Features R&B Artists and Groups DRU HILL, JAGGED EDGE, KEYSHIA COLE, 112 and FAITH EVANS
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - June 9, 2016 - PRLog -- The Summer of Love Tour featuring Dru Hill, Jagged Edge, Keyshia Cole, 112 and Faith Evans will be held at Municipal Auditorium - Kansas City on Saturday, July 23, 2016. This will be the concert tour in the market that you will not want to miss.
The Summer of Love Tour is a concert of all R&B acts known in the 90s and 2000s. Dru Hill will commemorate their 20th Anniversary with a performance with their live band. They were known during the late 1990s and their repertoire includes R&B/Soul, Hip Hop Soul, and Gospel music. Jagged Edge was an American mainstream R&B Group signed through the Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings. Keyshia Cole is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, businesswoman and television personality. 112 had a great success in the late 1990s and early 2000s and were formerly artists on Bad Boy Records, which was signed to the Def Soul roster in 2002. Faith Evans was working as a background vocalist for Al B. Sure and Christopher Williams, and she became the first female R&B artist to contract with Bad Boy Entertainment.
The Summer of Love Tour will include hits from the popular artists of recordings during the 90s and 2000s. Dru Hill R&B hits consisted of "In My Bed", "Never Make a Promise" and "How Deep is Your Love". Jagged Edge R&B hits consisted of "Let's Get Married", "He Can't Love U" and "Promise". Keyshia released a debut album "The Way It Is" with five singles "Never", "I Changed My Mind", "(I Just Want It) To Be Over", "I Should Have Cheated" and "Love". 112 hits consisted of "Only You", "Anywhere" and the Grammy-nominated single "Peaches and Cream" and "I'll Be Missing You". Faith Evans released three platinum-certified studio albums between 1995 and 2001, including "Faith", "Keep the Faith" and "Faithfully".
The Municipal Auditorium is located at the Kansas City Convention, 303 W. 13th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64105. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Concert begins at 7:00p.m.
