PLAINFIELD, Ind. - March 24, 2016 - PRLog -- The 2016 Ford Fiesta subcompact vehicle has made its debut in Plainfield, Indiana, which comes as exciting news to Indianapolis and Greenwood fans of the efficient small car. The Fiesta is available in seven trims including both hatchback and sedan body styles, all of which are now available to test drive at Andy Mohr Ford in Plainfield, IN.
All body styles, with the exception of the ST are powered by the 1.6L 16-valve Ti-VCT inline 4-cylinder engine that generates 120 hp. This powerplant can be paired with either the 5-speed manual transmission, standard or a PowerShift 6-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift to produce an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 28 mpg/city and 31 mpg/highway. The ST Hatchback offers a 1.6L turbocharged EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual transmission combination that creates 197 hp. The SE trim also offers a 1.0L manual EcoBoost package which increases efficiency to 31 mpg/city and 43 mpg/highway.
The Fiesta can be equipped with features like SYNC3 and SYNC AppLink, as well as an available navigation system, and SiriusXM Traffic and TravelLink systems as options. Drivers also have access to Sony HD audio system, rearview camera, leather-trimmed heated front seats, Electronic Automatic Temperature Control and optional Intelligent Access with Pushbutton start as additional upgrades.
Customers with teenaged drivers can add the Ford MyKey system to provide a supervised driving mode and add optional restrictions to when, where, and how the vehicle is operated. Additional safety features include seven standard airbags and Boron steel reinforced safety cage.
