National Testing Network Launches New Public Safety Applicant Testing Center in Indianapolis

By: PRLog
PRLog - May 6, 2014 - INDIANAPOLIS -- National Testing Network (NTN), the leader in outsourced testing for public safety departments announces a new Midwest testing location in Indianapolis, Indiana in partnership with Franklin University-Indianapolis Campus, located at 80415 Allison Pointe Blvd - Lake Center 5 Bldg., Indianapolis, IN 46250.

This new testing location will deliver firefighter, law enforcement, corrections officer and emergency communications officer applicant testing services.

This testing service will be more convenient for local job seekers, and allow public safety departments to greatly reduce their applicant screening costs.

National Testing Network is enabling candidates across the Midwest to have access to multiple times and dates to take their entry-level placement exams for public safety job openings.  By breaking down the testing barriers, and enabling candidates to test in a central location at a convenient time for them, NTN is making the testing process candidate centric.

“NTN delivers more diversity, higher quality, and reduced costs for both candidate and departments,” said National Testing Network President, Carl Swander, Ph.D.

The National Testing Network is the sister company of Ergometrics & Applied Personnel Research, Inc, an organization that has 33 years of expertise in testing public service professions, and specializes in video-simulated testing, that exposes applicants to real experiences they would encounter on the job. The tests are specifically designed to identify applicants with the necessary decision making skills and critical thinking aptitude to perform well in a career in public safety.

This new testing location will offer entry-level testing for local city, county and state agencies looking to enhance their application process through a centralized, outsourced, testing location. The location in Indianapolis will compliment NTN’s test centers in Ohio and Illinois, and will serve public service agencies and applicants located in southern California.

The National Testing Network offers real-time applicant score reports, making applicant’s test scores readily available to employers who are looking to hire new employees.  This allows NTN to provide its clients with the most current applicant information, and the necessary test score data to enable public service departments to quickly make good hiring decisions.

Franklin University is the first NTN testing center site in the state of Indiana.   "This partnership will expand our service to the Indianapolis community as well as support Franklin's current partnership with the Indianapolis Department of Public Safety,” said Executive Director of the Franklin University Indianapolis location, Marnie Glanner.  "Through this new partnership, Franklin can host professional testing to serve fire, law enforcement, communications and correction departments of the IDPS and all surrounding public safety departments.”
