PR Log - Apr 20, 2013 - My name is Tony Carter and I’m a Christian songwriter from Southern Indiana. Over the last 5 years I have been a successful songwriter for T Carter Music, my independent music label that produces new wedding music. My original written songs have received over 16 million views on YouTube and have sold all around the world to many different countries. I've always considered myself to be blessed by God for my songwriting abilities and that is why I have decided to focus on giving Him all praise and glory through my latest music adventure and a longtime dream of mine, a full length Christian rock & praise CD. About the Music
Last August I was fortunate to travel to Nashville, TN and record my first Christian Rock / Praise & Worship Anthem titled "Reign Down on Me." I've always loved classic rock music and I wanted to incorporate those influences into this song. For the recording, I was fortunate to have worked with some of the finest musicians in the industry, many whom have worked with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, and other top recording artists. My producer, Cliff Goldmacher, is one of the top independent recording engineers in the business and we were able to create an awesome debut single that captured the rock anthem "sound" that I was looking for as well as delivering a message of hope within the lyrics written.
I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Cliff and his amazingly talented "A list" Nashville musicians once again for my full length debut CD! With his recording and production talent, I firmly believe that these songs will make a positive impact on many listeners. Once production is complete, all songs will be available for immediate download from iTunes and Amazon. CDs will be available from my official Tony Carter website. Singles will be released to national Christian radio stations and media kits will be submitted to worship ministries throughout the US.
What kind of sound am I going for? Mix a little dose classic rock with a heavy dose of positive lyrics that provide uplifting love and hope to many! Believers and non-believers will love this CD!

This project is to fund the recording of 8 or more new Christian rock and praise songs for my debut CD release titled "Reign Down on Me." I am also excited to possibly record a popular classic rock remake as one of my songs on the CD! Because I am an independent working without the help of a major label, creating an album from scratch will require funds for the following:
• producer & studio musician fees
• mixing and mastering
• duplication and fulfillment
• marketing & media kits
• video & photography
Pledge Goal
Our Pledge Goal is $10,000 to record the basic song tracks, but we would like to encourage a "Stretch Goal" in the amount of $20,000 or more. All funds raised past our original Kickstarter goal will mean that I can produce a more polished, enhanced record down the line. I will be able to focus on the quality of the recordings and not be limited to a strict budget that may eliminate the possible use of feature instruments and backup singers. Finally, I will also be able to spend more time in post-production cleaning up the tracks for mastering the project as well as duplicating and marketing the CD. Make a Pledge Now!
