The Bay Area-based gender-affirming care provider Align Surgical Associates (Align Surgical) announces the opening of its new office in Santa Monica, with surgeons specializing in gender-affirming facial, top and genital surgical procedures. Michael H. Safir, MD. Dr. Safir is a dual fellowship-trained board-certified reconstructive urologist with subspecialty certification in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He is one of the few urologists in the world with individual fellowship training and experience in both male and female genital reconstruction.
