Horace Mann bolsters its financial wellness offerings for educators with new TransUnion partnership

HMScore™ provides free credit education and tools to teachers nationwide

In its continued commitment to helping educators, Horace Mann Educators Corporation (NYSE:HMN), the largest financial services company focused on helping America’s educators and others who serve the community achieve lifelong financial success, today announced a new partnership with TransUnion (NYSE: TRU), a global information and insights company. Horace Mann will leverage TransUnion’s consumer engagement solutions to provide educators with practical credit education and interactive credit tools through HMScore™.

“Educators play a vital role in shaping our students and communities, and we are continually seeking meaningful ways to support them. We are excited to introduce HMScore™ as a reflection of our dedication to providing innovative resources that help educators reach their financial aspirations,” said Steven Chauby, Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing, Digital, and Affiliate Sales at Horace Mann.

This newly enhanced digital interface will empower educators to confidently understand their foundational credit picture and actively engage with their information over time to take control of their financial health. Among other services, educators will have access to their TransUnion credit report and score, along with credit monitoring and TransUnion’s score simulation tool embedded natively within their dashboard experience.

“Building strong credit habits is fundamentally important for consumers as they work to manage their financial futures. We are honored to support Horace Mann’s initiative to put actionable credit education tools and insights into the hands of educators,” said Lindsey Downing, Head of TransUnion’s Consumer Interactive business.

Educators can now access these tools by visiting: https://www.horacemann.com/hmscore. This program enhances a variety of Horace Mann offerings that are designed to give educators and those who serve the community the necessary tools for financial success. From student loan services to auto, property, life and supplemental insurance, retirement planning and educational workshops, Horace Mann provides comprehensive protection and financial services tailored specifically for its clients.
