Ivanti to Present at Cybertech Global Tel Aviv

Srinivas Mukkamala, SVP of Security Products at Ivanti, will discuss how risk-based vulnerability management combined with predictive analytics can help organizations achieve an agile approach to remediation

Ivanti, the provider of the Ivanti Neurons automation platform that discovers, manages, secures, and services IT assets from cloud to edge, today announced that Srinivas Mukkamala, Senior Vice President of Security Products at Ivanti, will present at Cybertech Global Tel Aviv. He will discuss how organizations can predict vulnerability weaponization and achieve an agile approach to remediation.

Who: Srinivas Mukkamala, Senior Vice President of Security Products at Ivanti, will give a presentation titled, “Predicting Vulnerability Weaponization - Offense or Defense: What Gives Teams the Best Chance to Win?” The event will also include talks and lectures by leading decision-makers, government officials, and top executives representing a wide range of sectors from dozens of countries all over the world.

What: Cybertech TLV is a three-day event comprised of two main parts: a conference featuring top speakers from around the world, and an exhibition that offers participants and visitors the chance to get acquainted and mingle with cyber leaders.

When: The event will take place March 1-3 at the Tel Aviv Convention Center (Expo). Mukkamala will speak on Wednesday, March 2 from 14:25-14:35.

Where: Tel Aviv Expo, Pavilion #2

Rokach Blvd 101, Tel Aviv-Yafo

Why: Today, many organizations use the “waterfall” model when it comes to vulnerability management and remediation. Yet agile methodologies increase an organization’s ability to remediate vulnerabilities faster. This is critical as the cat and mouse game of information security is asymmetric; attackers only need one successful exploit to infiltrate an organization, whereas IT and security teams must account for all holes in their defenses. This asymmetry is magnified by the four Vs of vulnerability management: Volume, Velocity, Variety, Veracity.

In this talk, Mukkamala will discuss how risk-based vulnerability management combined with predictive analytics can move organizations closer to agile. He will share how the moats and perimeters of the past are no longer relevant, and why businesses today must identify and prioritize vulnerability weaknesses and accelerate remediation. It’s a big task and requires continuous monitoring of attack surfaces.
