Neil Parsont Announces the Imminent Launch of Zero Cheating

The prolific entrepreneur announces the debut of his latest business endeavor.

BOCA RATON, FL / ACCESSWIRE / January 26, 2023 / It is with great anticipation for the future that prolific and successful Southern Florida-based entrepreneur Neil Parsont announces his latest enterprise, Zero Cheating, launches on February 1, 2023. Currently, Zero Cheating is actively conducting crowdfunding through its official profile page on WeFunder, where additional information, including a promotional video outlining the business in further detail can be found.

Zero Cheating is a fully automated online exam proctoring service solving two major problems inherent to academia in the digital age:

The first problem is students can easily circumvent existing proctoring software services and cheat without detection. According to a recent study by the Open Education Database (OEDb), 60% of college students admit to cheating and, of those, 95% are never caught. Students currently cheat on online tests by using their smartphones outside the webcam viewing area to send and receive photos, google exam answers, and use online solvers. Photos of answers are often shared in large group chats, enabling cheating on a massive scale. Another common way students cheat is to get help from another person in the room who remains off-camera.

The second problem has to do with privacy and discrimination issues. These issues have triggered a legal complaint filed by the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) against five current market leaders in online test proctoring stemming from the allegation existing proctoring services are viewed as invasive and do not identify all ethnicities equally. Furthermore, U.S. district court Judge J. Philip Calabrese recently ruled room scans, which enable a better scope of student home testing areas, are unconstitutional.

For these reasons, existing online exam proctoring services are, one, failing to maintain academic integrity and, two, failing to respect students' rights to privacy and equality. It is Zero Cheating's mission to ensure the integrity of higher education degrees by solving these two problems with innovative, utility patent-pending hardware and software solutions. The company's automated system includes a proprietary webcam with a wide-angle lens and 360-degree motion sensor. The wide-angle lens prevents students from using their phone off-camera and the motion sensor detects anyone else in the room. The utility patent-pending software includes multiple biometric identity verification methods (existing companies only verify the student's webcam view against their physical student ID photo) with virtual backgrounds eliminating discrimination and privacy issues.

The inspiration behind the creation of Zero Cheating came from Neil Parsont's own first-hand experience. As a tutor for more than 15 years, Neil highly values higher education and boasts extensive experience in academia. Over the years, he has heard numerous accounts of students cheating despite ostensibly being monitored by online proctoring software. In one particularly egregious example, he learned about a group of 100+ students who had cheated en masse by working together to share digital photos of a proctored exam in a group chat. It was then when he decided that academic cheating in the digital age had become a problem of enormous proportions, and he resolved to use his intimate knowledge of how it is done to put an end to it. The result of his efforts is Zero Cheating.
