    (b)          Daniel O. Wilds resigned as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of SCOLR Pharma, Inc. (the “Company”) effective December 12, 2008.  The Company issued a press release regarding Mr. Wilds’ resignation on December 16, 2008.  A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
