October 6, 2008, The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (“Manitowoc”) issued a press
release (the “Press Release”) announcing that the necessary antitrust clearance
from the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division in connection with
Manitowoc’s proposed acquisition of Enodis plc has been obtained.
