Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 29, 2019, Ellen Tauscher, a director of eHealth, Inc. (the “Company”), passed away. In addition to her role as chairperson of the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”), Ms. Tauscher served as a member of the audit committee and the government and regulatory affairs committee of the Board.
