(b) Resignation of Director

Nancy L. Buc, Esq. resigned from the board of directors, including serving as the chairperson of the Compensation Committee, of Dynavax Technologies Corporation ("Dynavax" or the "Company") due to other commitments, effective August 11, 2010. There were no disagreements between Ms. Buc and the Company on any matter relating to Dynavax's operations, policies or practices.
