Cinfed recently detected unusual activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, Cinfed confirmed that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured computer systems between September 22, 2023 and September 25, 2023. Cinfed further determined that through this infiltration, cybercriminals accessed the sensitive personal information of 57,959 individuals, including:

• Social Security numbers
• Financial account information
