Cheerleading Duo launches Kickstarter Campaign to Raise Awareness

Now Seeking Community Support via Kickstarter, Take Flight Project will Encourage the Cheer Community to End the Tolerance of Verbal & Emotional Abuse by Raising Awareness!

Thousands of cheerleaders are abused verbally and emotionally by the athletes and coaches, which is not only unfortunate but also neglected across the board. To end this malpractice of cheer abuse, an inspiring new project entitled ‘Take Flight’ has been launched to raise awareness in the cheerleading circles. This project is created by Mattea Kane and Hannah Page, two 15 year old extremely accomplished and gifted cheerleaders from North Carolina, and they have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds and support for this inspiring initiative.

“We plan on using our cheer platform to bring awareness to the mental health of athletes in the cheer community that will impact their sport by ending the tolerance of verbal and emotional abuse that is currently and unfortunately accepted throughout the industry.” Said Mattea Kane, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. “We hope this will serve to unite the sport of cheer, spread positivity, and demonstrate positive culture.  Plus will also create good role models, and build self-esteem as well as character.” said Hannah Page.

The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at:

www.kickstarter.com/projects/takeflight-worldtour/take-flight-1 and backers from around the world can become a part of this project by making generous pledges and donations. Moreover, the goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to raise a sum of US$ 5,000 and the two creators of this project are offering a wide range of rewards with worldwide shipping for the supporting backers. Furthermore, more details are available on the Kickstarter campaign page of the project.
