Vancouver, Canada - 365give, a charity based in Vancouver, will be hosting the 5rd annual #Do1Give Day to spread love, one give at a time, in a global day of giving. The event happens on April 28, 2022 to further the vision of 365give which is to encourage daily giving and fulfill their mission “to change the world, one give, one day at a time”.
In 2017, 365give partnered with youth philanthropy groups to create one day of giving called #Do1Give. This international event has since inspired more than 100,000 small acts of giving in over 80 countries, globally making a positive difference. For 2022, 365give aims to achieve over 100,000 acts of giving around the world on #Do1Give Day.
The initiative started in Vancouver, Canada with one child and his mother giving back to the world every day for 365 days and has now spread globally - creating a ripple effect of giving with the goal of changing the world.
To participate in the event on April 28, 2022, people from all over the world can find event tools including digital and printable resources for #Do1Give Day at 365give.ca. Participants can put together a team with their local school, classroom, family, community, office or even individually, highlighting their gives on social media to help spread happiness one give at a time. 365give has provided The #Do1Give Action Guides, which make giving as easy as 1-2-3.
Take a picture or video of your #Do1Give activity and post it to social media with the hashtag #Do1Give #365give tagging friends and family to join in as well. They can tag their give to friends using #Do1Give #tagURit.
