NFT community raises funds and awareness for water Charity this World Water Day.
Singapore, Singapore Mar 20, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - This 'World Water Day' (22. March) NFT creators in Singapore and around the world will come together to raise awareness and funds for Charity Water.

Why Water?
We take clean water for granted. Most of us can even drink water from the tap. But for more than 700 million people in the world, clean and safe drinking water is not available (Source: Charity Water). So we want to raise awareness and funds for this cause. We choose 'Charity Water' because it is an established organisation that has sponsored more than 90,000 projects in 29 countries. Their work directly affects more than 14 million people.

'Cats with Attitudes' (an NFT project) is organizing this 'World Water Day' charity event by rallying creators and artists to create special "blue" art and donate it to this cause.
Another reason why we created this event is because NFT creators are often perceived to do it purely for the money. But in fact, most people behind NFTs are artists and creators who invest lots of time and creativity in their art because they are passionate about it and want to change the world.
Until now, there was no real way for them to protect or commercialize their work. NFTs provide them the opportunity to own their artwork and build a community around it. Also, NFTs because they live on the blockchain create transparency and trust for buyers.
We hope that this project will make a meaningful impact for people without clean water and bring awareness to all the talented and amazing creators that pour so much passion in their art.
Finally, we at 'Cats with Attitudes' envision that this "Blue NFT" collection will become a long-term project that we plan to re-purposed for other meaningful events like Earth Day.
What are NFTs and how can I buy one?
It has been a buzzword recently and without going into technical details, an NFT can be any digital asset (for example an image) that is encoded into the blockchain. By being on the blockchain, all information like the creator, current owner, selling price, etc. are visible to everyone and cannot be changed.
