Unfortunately, many talented female professionals across the industry still struggle to get the recognition they deserve.Music enthusiast and entrepreneur, Tara Low, appointed as a member of the Advisory Board of the WiMN — The Women’s International Music Network.

February 28, 2022 - Woodstock, GA - The efforts of Tara Low in promoting good content continue to yield the desired result as the Founder and Editor in Chief of Guitar Girl Magazine® was recently named as an advisory board member for The Women's International Music Network, otherwise known as the WiMN, which was founded by Laura B. Whitmore in 2012. Ms. Low will be bringing her years of experience in the business to the table as she continues in her pursuit of creating a community of successful female professionals in the music industry, which aligns with the goal of the WiMN.

“I am so honored to join the WiMN’s Advisory Board and to be in the great company of Laura Whitmore and the other great women leaders on the Board to further the enhancement of women in the music industry. This has been my passion for over a decade now and sitting on this Board will position me to further extend my contributions to this cause,” says Ms. Low.

However, Ms. Low aims to change this narrative through her content seen on Guitar Girl Magazine website and through her efforts recently recognized by The Women’s International Music Network.

Tara Low has over a decade of experience in the music business, launching her online retail music store and blog, Guitar It Up for Girls, in 2009 that catered to the needs of young and adult women. She eventually created Guitar Girl Magazine in 2012, following the success of her retail store and blog. The magazine has grown to become a leading female-oriented publication with digital and print versions.
