Action Tennis is a radical hybrid sport based on traditional tennis created by professional Hollywood stuntman, Pete Klein. An old, neglected tennis court inspired him to create this innovative, alternative sport. Pete is now planning the first official Tournament for Action Tennis, and he needs support to make this dream come true. “When I saw a neglected tennis court, I thought to myself what if we caged in the court, added playable backwalls & dynamic, roving obstacles.” Said Pete Klein, while introducing this project to the Indiegogo community. By putting modern, hybrid athletes in an unconventional, challenging new environment, Action Tennis basically becomes an unpredictable test of situational awareness. From swinging wrecking balls to rumbling tractor tires and smoke effects, Pete and his team aim to transform an existing tennis court into an Action Tennis platform, creating a new kind of reality TV experience called The Action Tennis Series.
