Mazlow is building a Oneness Movement to address global poverty – what does this mean?

By: Get News
Covid-19 has exacerbated an already wide gap between the rich and the poor. Mazlow is aiming to change this through a new paradigm – Oneness.

The gap between the rich and the poor has never been wider. Nearly half the world’s population lives on less than $5.50 a day! An additional 120 million people have been pushed into extreme poverty during the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, the wealth of billionaires has gone up by $5.5 trillion!

Founded by Ravi Muti, Rohit Parthasarathy, and Greg Melanson, Mazlow is a social impact venture addressing poverty and deep economic division through a Oneness Movement (see https://themazlow.com/oneness-movement/). Mazlow provides economic opportunities and basic needs to those in need through the sale of fair-trade products and food donations. Mazlow’s signature product is the Oneness Recycled Copper Bracelet, a fair-trade product made by hand by those in need of economic opportunities. For each product sold, Mazlow donates an item of food to someone in need.

Mazlow’s guiding principle is oneness. Oneness is the idea that humanity is deeply interconnected and rises and falls together. Enormous challenges such as economic inequality may be addressed when more people awaken to this fact. Mazlow regularly creates oneness content to educate people about the positive impact of this new paradigm. The world is rapidly changing – it is time for humanity to evolve consciousness to meet growing challenges.

To elaborate on Mazlow’s social impact, Mazlow works with craftsmen and women in the Kibera, one of the world’s largest slums in Nairobi, Kenya. Mazlow sells fair-trade, oneness-inspired, eco-friendly products made by those in need at https://themazlow.com/shop/. For each product sold, Mazlow contributes an item of Maize meal (highly valued in the Kibera) to those in need. Thus far, Mazlow has conducted three basic needs operations in the Kibera, contributing ~150 items of food to those in need. Guided by the idea of oneness, Mazlow is building up the local economy there while addressing basic needs. Mazlow’s ultimate goal is to build a sustainable community in an area of high need.

Mazlow envisions a world where ALL can thrive. Instead of life being a race to get ahead of each other, or a fight for scarce resources, imagine a world where humanity helps each other and takes care of the planet. If this vision resonates, check out Mazlow’s landing page at https://themazlow.com/oneness-movement/, and learn more about Mazlow’s mission and philosophy.
