Artist Donald Rubinstein is a massive force to be reckoned with in the world of music. Spending years in the entertainment and multimedia industry, the artist has gained significant experience when it comes to composing unique and original tunes. His brand new album titled ‘Crooked Dream’ is all set to release on November 20th, 2021.
With the release of the album, Donald Rubinstein is looking forward to showing the world what he’s capable of as an artist and winning the hearts of music lovers around the world, gathering himself a loyal fan following. Consisting of a total of 10 innovative tracks, ‘Crooked Dream’ is published by Desert Link Music and recorded by Bloodstone Records. A bunch of talented artists from the industry got together and worked on the album along with Donald Rubinstein. While Donald himself carried out the major processes of composition, production, and arrangement of the album, he is joined by an array of stellar studio and jazz musicians. Robin Holcomb and Hank Roberts contribute backing vocals. Craig Eastman plays the violin, tenor violin, and side guitar on the album. Drums and percussion are played by Rakalam Bob Moses, while Steve Gorn plays the Bansuri, and Vinny Golia the Saxophone. Apart from composing and producing the entire album, Donald Rubinstein also provides the lead vocals, background vocals, piano, and synthesis. ‘Crooked Dream’ is mastered by Ira Ingber and mixed by Donald Rubinstein.
Up until now, the talented artist has stayed out of the public eye, only now coming to the limelight and sharing his passion with the world. With his long and proclaimed history in music, Donald Rubinstein is sought after by many celebrated musicians. Throughout all these years in music, he has composed 375 original songs and 28 CDs of original music. Some of his other works include multiple films and TV scores, three heralded theatrical performances, commissioned instrumental works, twenty-one short films, and multiple gallery and museum exhibitions.

Donald Rubinstein made his musical debut at age 25, composing the score for George A. Romero’s cult classic, feature film, Martin. Rubinstein has also collaborated with artists as varied as Terry Allen, Brother Blue, John Densmore, Ed Harris, Wayne Horvitz & Zony Mash, and many others.
Donald Rubinstein was awarded a fellowship and residency, via nomination, from The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation in 2014. He is the recipient of The Ascap Special Award in Theater Arts, as well as many others.
