“Because of Who He Is” - Worship Through Poetry

By: WebWire

Faith is a wondrous thing. It is a source of hope for many. While for some, it is a very central part of their humanity. Though many claim faith to be the dominion of religion, faith is truly something held by all beliefs. Secular and religious.

But the poems written by Angela Martin's “Because of Who He Is” are rooted in something that echoes back to just the religious roots but to the spirituality of Christ. Faith in Christ has always been a pivotal part of a believer's journey, but to be followed by an action encompasses worship.

And that is what this book brings. It is a worship of Christ. A celebration of one's love of Jesus and how it brings joy to all while strengthening their faith. It is said that love is an act, which is true in all aspects. Love is meaningless without actions, and like many people of the Christian faith, an expression of their Love of Christ takes many forms. Through sharing, charity, and kindness. Angela Martin brings the writer's craft to the table of worship with her book “Because of Who He Is.”

Angela Martin takes you through an expressive journey, where the creative flow of the writer's craft is brought to the forefront as a symbol of worship. Through poetry, we are introduced to prose that echoes back to the Psalms of David and even the pioneers of the faith, such as DL Moody.

But like many stories, this book is not just a callback to the long history of written worship but also a message of love.

The book is a short read, an excellent companion for your quiet time.
