IronOrbit to Participate at this year’s ACEC’s National IT Forum

Wednesday, September 8, 2021 (Viz Release) Anaheim Hills, CA – – IronOrbit, a fully integrated Information, and Communications Technology (ICT) provider, announced today it will participate at this year’s ACEC National IT Forum, taking place on September 21 in Nashville, Tennessee. During their participation, IronOrbit will discuss 3 IT challenges that every AEC company aiming to grow, faces today – scaling up while remaining secure and within budgetary limitations.

AEC firms frequently need the ability to scale up quickly as they acquire new projects that require an increase in resources. With that growth comes an increased need for cybersecurity. How do you handle both challenges within budget? IronOrbit’s presentation will explore answers to these questions.

For AEC firms, moving their IT systems to a cloud environment is an important step in creating a solid foundation for being able to take advantage of many emerging technologies. Scaling up or down on the cloud is a faster, simpler, more secure, and cost-effective process than trying to do it with an on-premises server.

As one of the world’s most established business associations, the ACEC attracts some of the brightest and creative minds in architecture, engineering, and technology. The association’s National Information Technology Forum is an opportunity for design professionals to learn about emerging technologies that can make their work easier, more effcient, and more productive.

IronOrbit is a leader in Managed GPU-Accelerated hosted desktops and was recently recognized in Gartner’s 2021 Market Guide for Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS). IronOrbit’s flagship product line INFINITY Workspaces are designed from the application-level backward to deliver the fastest and most reliable performance possible. This makes IronOrbit INFINITY Workspaces ideal for AEC power-users running the world’s most demanding modern applications, like AutoCAD and Revit.

“We are honored to be asked to participate in this year’s panel discussion,” said the company’s CEO Alexander Saca. “AEC organizations need simplified DaaS deployment solutions that drive agility, performance, and business continuity. More than that, they need a DaaS that fits long-term objectives. That includes enabling them to take advantage of emerging digital technologies. INFINITY Workspaces offer that kind of flexibility.”

ACEC is a national federation of 52 state and regional organizations representing more than 5,000 engineering firms and over 560,000 engineers, surveyors, architects, and other specialists nationwide. ACEC member firms drive the design of America’s infrastructure.
