Packer’s Pine Launches Two Affiliate Programs for Pine Tar Soap Sales

The company that has been bringing people soothing, pine tar-based soap since the 1800s is now allowing creators and influencers to become sales partners through innovative affiliate marketing programs.

Creators and influencers who are hooked on the natural goodness of Packer’s Pine personal hygiene products can now join the company’s sales efforts. Packer’s Pine has launched two affiliate marketing programs: one connecting directly to website sales and the other to Amazon marketplace sales.

“We are building a robust community of influencers out there who are passionate about our nature-based natural soap products and their therapeutic effects on the skin,” said David Zelken, Packer’s Pine President. “We are excited to develop profitable partnerships with these influencers.”

Creators and influencers can work through two channels: ShareASale, which refers sales directly to the Packer’s Pine website, and Levanta, which refers sales to Packer’s Pine Amazon listings and Amazon storefront. Both programs rolled out with the help of affiliate marketing agency ebove & beyond.

“We specifically chose ebove & beyond because of their outstanding track record,” said Zelken. “If anyone can get our product in front of the people who recognize its many advantages, it’s ebove and beyond.”

As America leans away from chemical-laden care products, Packer’s Pine is seeing a surge in sales for its sulfate and paraben-free pine tar soap and body wash. Rather than drying out the skin, these products soothe and hydrate, providing natural relief for eczema, psoriasis, and athlete’s foot.

The products are also used as a deet-free alternative to insect repellent, a benefit that traces back to the soap’s history with the Army Corps of Engineers. Leading up to World War II, Packer’s Pine was the insect repellent of choice for the Corps. Today, it continues to provide potent protection from bug bites.

Packer’s Pine soap is known for being “pure as the pines since 1869,” the year the company was founded by Daniel Packer of Mystic, Connecticut. The soap’s characteristic pine scent leaves users smelling as fresh as a virgin forest.

As Zelken strategized ways to promote the Packer’s Pine brand, affiliate marketing was a natural choice for him, having worked for 14 years at ShareASale. In addition to sharing Packer’s Pine soap products with the world, influencers and creators are also hyping Packer’s Pine nature-based shampoo and conditioner, which hydrate and soothe the skin and scalp.
