Max and Midnight: The Journey Continues is the sequel to The Journey of Max and Midnight. This is a true story about two little rescue dogs that were adopted by the author and her two sons. The continuation provides the readers with an informational text on how to prepare to go adopt a dog or cat. About the Author
Jane E. Gordon is a retired marathon runner, a parent of two boys and currently two little dogs, Max and Midnight.

Gordon is a retired lubrication engineer and teacher; however, she still works part-time as a Mental Health Counselor. She is an avid dog lover, and devoted mother to all four, her two fur babies and her two sons.

Gordon wrote this book in dedication to her second grade class of 2023 before finally retiring. Her goal is to educate people on adopting rescue animals and helping them find a forever home.
