This includes upgrades to the public transportation network and ongoing efforts to reduce congestion on popular tourist routes. The addition of more electric buses, bike lanes, and pedestrian-friendly pathways aligns with the city’s commitment to sustainable tourism and reducing its carbon footprint.

Sustainability has always been a cornerstone of Vancouver’s tourism strategy, and the post-pandemic recovery has only strengthened this focus.
