TAMPA, Fla., February 8, 2023 (Newswire.com) - More2Life, a youth development program underneath the umbrella of New Life Solutions, is an outreach ministry that focuses on educating and empowering teens to build healthy relationships and confidently stand against risky behaviors, such as drug and alcohol use. The program offers free presentations to public and private schools throughout the Tampa Bay area, addressing relevant topics teens face, ranging from bullying and conflict resolution to goal setting and social media safety.

More2Life has been educating Tampa Bay's youth by partnering with parents and schools since 1999 and has reached nearly 195,000 students as of the end of last year. It has even conducted sessions in juvenile justice facilities, alternative schools, and summer camps. More2Life's impactful message will now be accessible to teens outside of the Tampa Bay area, thanks to a new online university-type platform.

"This gives us the opportunity to reach more students beyond the Tampa Bay area with a free online curriculum that any teacher, youth worker or parent can access at any time, anywhere," says Jason Dorr, Director of More2Life. To enroll in the online courses is simple and free. Teachers, parents, and students can access courses on a portal through its website M2L.org under "Courses."

Currently, the most popular curriculum topics of substances, healthy relationships, and sexual risk avoidance are open for enrollment on the platform. There is also a course called The Whole Truth About Choice^® thatdiscusses worldview, abortion grief and trauma, hopeful options, and the value of the body. More courses will be added throughout the year, such as peer pressure and refusal skills.

This new online curriculum is available thanks to funding from The Fifth C Foundation. The foundation is the philanthropic effort of International Diamond Center, a locally owned and operated business that has a rich history of serving and supporting local nonprofits. The foundation's vision is primarily focused on efforts related to veterans of war, childhood education, and pediatric oncology. "We are thankful they chose to sponsor this initiative for us," shares Dorr. "It will allow us to equip students with the message of More2Life in places we would otherwise be unable to reach."
