Sensory Integration Education And Resource Foundation (SIERF) To Host Its 13th Annual Back To School Giveaway And Food Distribution

By: Get News

Torrance, CA - This year SIERF will host its annual Back to School Giveaway at the Department of Children and Family Services in Torrance. Hundreds of families are expected to attend the giveaway and will receive not only a backpack and school supplies, but we will also have food distribution.

Most of the attendees are from low-income family households. This has been a difficult year for caregivers and children.  “Inflation has made it even more challenging for families as many have had to choose between school supplies and food, now they don’t have to” says Executive Director Kathy Sutton.

SIERF partners are Department of Children and Family Services, Nissan of Torrance, Home Depot, and National Action Network (NAN), Torrance Refinery, Coffee Bean
