Dola was actively involved in the 2018 Nigeria Economic Summit Group, where he contributed to shaping strategies for national economic development. His engagement was notably recognized during a speech by then Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki, emphasizing the focus on supporting SMEs.

Dola recounted his experience as a serial entrepreneur managing 12 companies over the last two decades across diverse markets such as India, China, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and some countries in Africa. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Wales, UK, specializing in financing Multinational Corporations, with a thesis on corporate global expansion. With a certificate in Trade finance at the American University in Cairo. 

His venture, the Commodity Bank platform, has established itself as a leader in the export industry by connecting over 32,000 businesses in Africa to global markets and supporting over 6,000 women traders with financing to sustain their households.

Recently, Dola shared insights about his latest projects, including his involvement with Stanford University, international speaking engagements, and leading a Business Media House that aims to generate over $1 billion in support for African and Caribbean businesses. This initiative focuses on connecting businesses valued over $1 million to essential resources such as financing, technology, and expert industry guidance.

As Africa progresses, driven by its people and leaders like Mike Dola, the commitment to fostering an enabling environment for its populace continues to be a central theme in the continent's rise to prominence.
