The MLK Day of Celebrations and Dreams will feature awards, games, food, dancing, and conversations that bridge the generational gap, fostering connections between veterans, civilians.

Fayetteville, NC - ShaDonna "Mo" McPhaul, also known as "The Mo You Know," recipient of the Special Recognition Award from the Honolulu Chapter of the NAACP in 2017, is proud to announce the upcoming MLK Day of Celebrations and Dreams. This event is a heartfelt tribute to continue the legacy and dream of Dr. Rev Martin Luther King Jr. The Mo You Know invites the community to join in a day of unity, celebration, and reflection on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2 pm, immediately following the Fayetteville MLK Parade.

The event will take place at 1520 Slater Avenue, Fayetteville, NC 28301, and promises an array of activities for attendees of all ages and backgrounds. This inclusive celebration aims to bring together members of the community who share a common commitment to realizing Dr. King's dream of unity, equality, and justice for all.

The MLK Day of Celebrations and Dreams will feature awards, games, food, dancing, and conversations that bridge the generational gap, fostering connections between veterans, civilians, and youth. The event is proud to be in collaboration with several organizations and sponsors that share the vision of unity and community building.
