VCDS HEX V2 is an OBDII diagnostic cable that plugs right in to from 1995 to Current Model Year. HEX-V2 Compatible with protocols for K Line, K+L Line, dual-K, or CAN and UDS/ODX. That performs the functions of a factory VAG scan tools for VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda cars. It is also compatible with many 1990-1995 Audis and 1990-1994 VW’s. Unlike VAS6154A ODIS complex installation, The VCDS 24.5 is very easy to installation and no limited on Windows.
But except it does NOT fully support the following vehicles:
Routan vans — All years. These are re-badged Chrysler and don’t use VW’s diagnostic protocols.Lamborghini — these require a HEX-NET.Some 1991-1994 Audi TDI engines with ECUs that communicate at 240bps.
