     On July 6, 2007, Celanese Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Lyndon Cole is retiring as Executive Vice President of the Company and President of Ticona, the Company’s engineering polymers business, effective July 24, 2007. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

     On July 6, 2007, the Company issued a press release announcing that Sandra Beach Lin had been named as Executive Vice President of the Company and President of Ticona, effective July 24, 2007. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
