Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment

On
December 10, 2004, Johnson Outdoors Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Jervis
B. Perkins had been appointed as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the
Company. Perkins, 49, joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer in January 2003.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Perkins was employed by Brunswick Corporation for seven
years, most recently as Group General Manager of the Bowling Products business beginning
in February 2000. He was Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Brunswick’s
Mercury Marine Division from January 1998 to February 2000.
