Explanatory Note

This Form 6-K/A amends the Form 6-K furnished by Goldcorp Inc. (the “Company”) on July 25, 2018 (the “Original Form 6-K”) to correct a typographical error relating to the disclosure of the effective tax rates in Note 6 – Income Taxes on pages 13 and 14 in Exhibit 99.2 (Condensed Interim Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company for the three and six months ended June 30, 2018) to the Original Form 6-K.  Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 6-K/A now contains a corrected Note 6 – Income Taxes, concerning the effective tax rates on pages 13 and 14 thereof (Condensed Interim Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company for the three and six months ended June 30, 2018).  No other changes were made to the Original Form 6-K.
