On October 2, 2008, Kevin P. Bagby informed FreightCar America, Inc. (the “Company”) that he is resigning as Vice President, Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company, effective November 3, 2008. Mr. Bagby has served the Company since November 2004, when he joined as Vice President, Finance, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary. The Company announced that it is engaged in a search to find a new Chief Financial Officer.
