On June 25, 2007, FreightCar America, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it estimates that its net income for the second quarter of 2007 will be from $0.85 to $0.95 per diluted share, and announcing its receipt of a customer purchase commitment for 1900 hopper railcars. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
