G. Willi-Food International Ltd. (NASDAQ: WILC) (the “Company” or “Willi-Food”), a global company that specializes in the development, marketing and international distribution of kosher foods, reported that its controlling shareholder, Willi Food Investments Ltd., reported that Israel 18 B.V., a company controlled by Mr. Gregory Gurtovoy and the indirect controlling shareholder of the Company, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Ta'aman Food Marketing Ltd. to establish a 50:50 joint venture for joint control of BGI Investments (1961) Ltd., the Company's indirect controlling shareholder. The MOU and Joint Venture Agreement are subject to receipt of Israeli Anti-Trust Authority approval.
